MIX 2.0 - The program

MIX 2.0 is a statistical add-in to perform meta-analysis with Excel 2007 or later. It comes in two flavors: Lite for those who want to learn or teach about meta-analysis and Professional for those who want to perform one on their own data. MIX has many unique features. The structured approach to meta-analysis in which the numerical and graphical assessments are conveniently categorized in methods for exploration, synthesis, and evaluation is just one of them. For more details about what MIX can do, have a look at the features page.

The name and the logo

The name 'MIX' stands for Meta-analysis In eXcel. It's just an acronym that we thought would be easy to remember. The logo was recently updated and shows a 'MIX' of part of a normal distribution and the diamond that is often used in meta-analysis to represent the meta-analysis result.
