MIX 2.0 Professional licenses and Discounts

Personal license
This license can be purchased by anybody anywhere. 

Academic license
This license is meant for researchers at academic institutes. If you would like to apply for this discounted license, you must provide the following information by
- First name
- Last name
- Institutional e-mail address (not a private gmail or hotmail address)
- Name of the university / research institute
- Name of the center of department where you work
- Scanned copy of your employee card
(If your institute does not issue ID cards, a scanned copy of a note from your institute's adminstrative office confirming your status can be used instead).

Student license
The student license is meant for undergraduate and graduate students who do not receive a salary from their academic institute. If you would like to apply for this discounted license, you must provide the following information by
- First name
- Last name
- Institutional e-mail address (not a private gmail or hotmail address)
- Name of the university / research institute
- Name of the center of department where you study
- Scanned copy of your student ID with visible validity date
(If your institute does not issue student ID cards with a validity date, a scanned copy of a note from your institute's adminstrative office confirming your status can be used instead).

Limited funding academic license
The limited funding academic license is meant for researchers with limited funds within developing countries outside of the emerging markets. You will be eligible if you are indeed employed at an institute in such a country and provide the following information by
- First name
- Last name
- Residing country
- Institutional e-mail address (not a private gmail or hotmail address)
- Name of the university / research institute
- Name of the center of department where you study
- Scanned copy of your student ID with visible validity date
(If your institute does not issue student ID cards with a validity date, a scanned copy of a note from your institute's adminstrative office confirming your status can be used instead).

Bulk prices

Bulk or group licenses for university labs or departments can be provided for any number of licenses. The discount will be dependent on the number of licenses and the kind of organization. Please contact us for details.

MIX 2.0 LITE licenses

There is only one license for MIX 2.0 Lite and this is a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 Unported License. This means the software is FREE to use and distribute as long as it is not for commercial purposes, the software is not altered, and the software is attributed to the original author.
