Built-in dATASETs FILES
Updating built-in datasets files
MIX 2.0 Lite and Pro contain a large number of built-in datasets. These datasets are gathered in a special dataset file that we intend to update regularly to accomodate those that use MIX 2.0 Lite and Pro for learning and teaching purposes. To update the built-in datasets file, simply start-up the Datawizard, choose 'Update built-in datasets' and update via the MIX website (the current MIX 2.0 built-in datasets file) or via a local file (one that you may have downloaded from the list of user-contributed datasets files below).
Contributing built-in datasets files
You can contribute datasets yourself if you have an academic license and use MIX for teaching purposes. To contribute datasets for the built-in dataset file, do the following:
- Create your datasets in MIX 2.0 Pro
- Save the datasets as MIX 2.0 files (*.mxdx)
- Zip the files and send them to us by e-mail, listing:
- Your first name, last name, title, and affiliation
- Your MIX 2.0 Pro license code
- The course in which you would like to use the datasets
- A short description of each dataset
We will review the datasets and list the datasets file in the section below with your name and course.
